New features recently went live within the Student Information System (SIS). The self-service Course Search feature has streamlined search filters and search results update dynamically when filters are adjusted. The status column now shows open and waitlisted seat counts and new color coding allows students to quickly identify class status. This new feature is also mobile-friendly. The option to revert to the old version of Course Search is available.
In addition to self-service, a new support button was added to assist students during enrollment. Students who encounter errors when adding or dropping courses can now create a Student Enrollment and Account Management (SEAM) case for additional support. Once the student submits the form that appears after clicking the “Create SEAM Case” button, they will receive an email with the case number and a link to check their status and follow up with a support agent. Read more about these features on the University Information Systems (UIS) website.
