Research IT recently released the SAFESTOR Storage Request Form, designed to streamline the process of managing researchers’ SAFESTOR storage needs. SAFESTOR is a centrally managed, secure, and scalable network attached storage (NAS) device for research purposes, accessible from SAFE and SAFER virtual desktops and DISCOVERY on-premises general-purpose high-performance computing cluster (HPC). This new form allows investigators to request a new file share and add or remove users to/from an existing share. All SAFESTOR projects and access requests require Principal Investigator approval. Research IT will fulfill requests within 1-3 business days following approval. For more information on SAFESTOR, please visit https://researchit.jhu.edu/safe-stor/
