Potential and current Johns Hopkins patients now have a streamlined way to search for Johns Hopkins providers. The Health IT team worked with Kyruus to deploy a new website that helps patients find Johns Hopkins-affiliated health care providers. This site streamlines eight previous search experiences into one and improves patient experience with better search capabilities. The previous system had only 3500 free text search terms; this system contains over 35,000 templated, patient-friendly terms. The new system includes consolidated data from six systems and performs nearly half of patient-facing content updates automatically. Providers and departments are empowered to directly manage their profiles with easier management and reporting.
