The Health IT team worked with Occupational Health to implement a single electronic health record for employee health data with harmonized and enhanced workflows. Previously, this data appeared in multiple systems, making it harder for employees and Occupational Health to manage. Enhancements include interfaces to transmit lab results electronically, automated medical clearance reports to Talent Acquisition, and the newly-launched upgrade of Cority, the software for employee health record storage and management. This upgrade enables standardized workflows that bring work-related medical care, health compliance, and injury data together in one place. Occupational Health now provides a more streamlined, efficient, and easier experience for employees. Related goals for the upcoming fiscal year include rolling out myCority (employee health portal) to all JHU and JHHS employees, automatic notifications for annual requirements (e.g., flu vaccine), and creating a compliance dashboard for immunization.
