When Sightline started their planning phase in 2024, they heard that in addition to improving the way we work (through Workday), people wanted a better way to find and receive administrative help. That feedback led to the addition of of the mySolutionTeam portal to Sightline. Today, getting administrative help is fragmented — whether you are asking about finding a W2, filling in a goals form, or what you can order and get reimbursed for. The mySolutionTeam portal, which arrives in January 2027, is a consolidated ServiceNow-based access point for help requests. At JHU, newly established HR and Finance Solution Teams will take on routine, high-volume administrative work to strengthen speed, consistency, and accuracy. At JHHS, existing administrative teams are continuing to refine and enhance how they deliver support through the new portal.
The screenshot below is an early draft of what the portal might look like (designs will change). In 2027, you will be able to go to one spot for help. AI tools are available to get your questions answered in addition to submitting a case, calling, or emailing. mySolutionTeam is set to launch in January with current administrative processes. The tool will expand and adapt to support Workday by the time it goes live in July.
