The Final Pitch event on May 10, 2024, was the culmination of 16 weeks of customer discovery, prototype design, and commercialization planning in the Hexcite medical software start-up generator program for entrepreneurs. Hexcite is hosted by the Johns Hopkins Medicine Technology Innovation Center in collaboration with Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures.

Early-stage digital health teams, built from Johns Hopkins expertise, presented their 10-minute pitch with live judging from local innovation leaders. Each team includes a Johns Hopkins clinician and other professionals in design, technology, and business disciplines at Johns Hopkins.

Here were this year’s teams, each linked to their pitch presentation:

  • hints– Mobile application for detecting stroke
  • LactiSure – Monitoring tool to track eating habits of sick infants
  • Provider Pulse – Clinical monitoring tool to help detect and prevent burnout
  • REINS – Research solution for tracking and matching studies, trials, and patients

After a live vote (including both our in-person and virtual audiences), the audience favorite was Provider Pulse. The judges selected hints as the winner of the Final Pitch event. If you missed the event on May 10th, you can watch the full recorded livestream or any of the individual pitches linked above.
