November 2025

Workday is coming to Johns Hopkins in July 2027. To prepare for this transition, there are multiple learning opportunities for an early look at the technology, including the Introduction to Workday series, and What’s Changing with Workday webinars.

You can access the Introduction to Workday series now to view short, interactive learning modules. Topics include basic navigation, reporting tools, preparing for Workday, and more. Watch individual modules now, or add the full series to your myLearning 2.0 to watch later.

What’s Changing with Workday webinars, starting in January 2026, will offer a deeper dive along with live demonstrations and Q&A opportunities. Webinar topics will cover hiring and onboarding, submitting expenses, purchasing, and more. You can register now for all upcoming webinars from the What’s Changing with Workday page, and you will receive calendar invitations for each session. These webinars are tailored to JHU and JHHS audiences, so be sure to select your affiliation.

Even if Workday won’t change your day-to-day tasks, much of your personal employee information will live there, so it’s important to know your way around. Pay, performance, and expense reimbursements will all be managed in Workday, and becoming familiar with the system will help you navigate these items with confidence.
