Matt started working in the IT@JH department in 2008. He spent one of his 13 years at Johns Hopkins in the University Administration business office, but the majority of his Johns Hopkins career has been with IT@JH. Matt received his BS in Economics from Towson University in 2008 and his MBA from Johns Hopkins in 2012. Matt is driven by user-focused application design, simple and powerful data analytics that drive institutional strategy, the mission of Johns Hopkins to serve higher ed, patients, and research, and lastly (and most importantly), creating an environment where employees can thrive doing their best work. Outside of work, Matt loves taking his son and his son’s cousins on “adventures” – camping, theme parks, museums, parks, and boating. He also enjoys traveling with his wife Leah and catching Orioles/Ravens games with friends and family.
