The Research IT team recently upgraded SAFE Desktop to Windows 11. This latest operating system is designed to boost productivity and enhance the virtual desktop experience. The Secure Analytic Framework Environment (SAFE) Desktop provides a secure and efficient Windows workspace. In response to community requests, MATLAB is also available on SAFE Desktop. This application is a programming and computing platform used for engineering and scientific tasks, such as data analysis, signal processing, control systems, wireless communications, and robotics. It features a programming language, interactive apps, specialized libraries, and tools for generating embedded code.
