Marc has over 30 years of experience advancing the missions of higher education and health sciences institutions. He comes to Johns Hopkins from Emory University, where he developed and led efforts to support the research enterprise, faculty scholarship, staff productivity, and student experience. Prior to joining Emory, Marc served in multiple senior IT roles at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and also spent six years in IT roles at Harvard Medical School. Marc is a graduate of Davidson College in North Carolina.
